Immersive Sound Engineering Shaping Entertainment
The VOLT project is a dynamic, multi-activity environment spanning three floors that demands a highly complex audio infrastructure. Engineered and executed from the ground up by ProMic, the building was mapped into 14 independent audio zones. By integrating advanced European audio systems from the renowned Spanish manufacturer Amate Audio, the final result is an exceptional acoustic environment that effortlessly combines raw power with sonic purity.
Phase 1: Acoustic Mapping & System Design
Every successful AV installation begins with meticulous planning. Before running a single cable, our engineering team developed comprehensive AutoCAD blueprints mapping the entire audio infrastructure across VOLT’s three floors. These detailed technical layouts specified precise speaker placements, coverage angles, and network routing, establishing a flawless technical foundation for the complex acoustic environment ahead.
Phase 2: Resolving Contrasting Acoustic Environments
With the blueprints finalized, the core challenge was managing radically different acoustic requirements within a single building. The engineering objective was to deliver high-energy, dynamic audio in the VR Karting and arcade areas while maintaining absolute silence in the administrative offices and providing a subtle ambiance in the VIP lounges. This required strict acoustic isolation strategies to prevent cross-zone audio bleed.
Phase 3: Precision Zoning for 14 Independent Areas
Based on the initial acoustic survey and AutoCAD designs, the venue was intelligently divided into 14 fully independent zones. From the ground floor housing reception and simulation halls, through the first floor dedicated to VIP lounges, up to the roof featuring party rooms and Laser Tag arenas. Each zone was acoustically tuned to fulfill its exact purpose without interfering with adjacent spaces.
Phase 4: Unrivaled Performance Powered by Amate Audio
To execute the design flawlessly, ProMic utilized the uncompromising quality of Amate Audio. Designed and manufactured in Spain, these systems ensure extreme durability and crystal-clear output under continuous heavy use.
A carefully curated mix of their flagship models was deployed:
Amate Audio S15 Subwoofers: Delivering deep, physical bass extension for total sensory immersion in the high-energy gaming and VR Karting zones.
Amate Audio S26 Column Arrays: Providing highly controlled, consistent horizontal acoustic dispersion for the dynamic arcade environments.
Amate Audio G7 Premium Speakers: Installed across the distributed areas, VIP lounges, and administrative zones to ensure elegant aesthetics matched with pristine, even sound coverage.
Phase 5: Smart Central Control & Networked Audio Transport
The beating heart of the system relies on advanced Digital Signal Processors (DSP) utilizing cutting-edge Audio over IP (AoIP) network technology. This modern architecture eliminates bulky cable runs and ensures zero-latency audio transport. Through a custom-programmed smart control interface, the VOLT operations team can manage volume and switch audio sources per zone with a single touch. An automated, priority-based Azan system was also seamlessly integrated to fade music during prayer times.
